About Us

Our family business started in 1883 and is the oldest in the Kansas City area.

 

Dan Bluhm: A 3rd generation memorialist, who graduated from Wyandotte High School. I have been making memorials all of my life.

 

John Koeckeritz: A 4th generation memorialist, who graduated from Washington High School, Kansas City Kansas Community College and Pittsburg State University with a BBA. I started working in the family business in my early teens and full time after college.

 

Jennifer Koeckeritz: A 4th generation memorialist, who graduated from Washington High School, Kansas City Kansas Community College and Pittsburg State University. I also started working in the family business in my early teens and full time after college.

We are the only complete manufacturing facility for granite memorials. Starting with the granite boulders and slabs, we then saw, polish, shape, design, deliver, and install in cemeteries in the Kansas City metro area.

 

By doing all of the manufacturing and working without commissioned salespeople, we can offer top quality granite and bronze memorials.

Each cemetery has different sizes, rules and regulations that must be followed. By filling out our contact page, we can then give you exact quotations that include all costs to make and install the memorial.
